RECAP: AAU KARATE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

RALEIGH, NC (July 11, 2017) –The AAU Karate National Championships were held June 27th- July 1st in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

This event hosted athletes and coaches from across the country. 

Congratulations to the Top 20 Karate Clubs in the country for their success at the National Championships!

The AAU also gave out Scholarship Awards to athletes who excelled on the mat as well as in the classroom. Colin Castlewitz and Carissa Hansen were both awarded $1,000 to use towards their college education. 

AAU Cares partnered with Activate Good, to assist athletes at the event to assemble hygiene packs.These packs were given to people in need in the Raleigh area.
