Meet Izel Castillo - 1 of 7 Athletes Participating at the ISF High School Games In Morocco

Izel Castillo,  is 16 years old and is one of seven athletes representing the United States at the ISF High School Games in Morocco. 

A little about Izel: 

• She started karate at 8yrs old. 
• She is currently an 11th grader at Monterey High School. 
• She is a member of National Honors Society with a GPA 4.2
• Member of the International Karate Federation (IKF) - Sacramento under the instruction of Sensei John Limcaco
• Last year at the AAU Nationals Izel earned 5 gold medals
• At the WUKF World Championships in Dublin, Ireland she took home silver in kata and gold in Kumite 
• 2x bronze medalist at the Junior Pan American Championships
